Although I haven’t had the chance to visit Queen Elizabeth II’s final resting place at Windsor Castle, I created a collage of photos—captured from my television—as a personal tribute to this extraordinary woman.

Her historic reign of over 70 years stands as the longest of any British monarch, and the longest verified reign of any female head of state in history. Through decades of change and challenge, she embodied grace, duty, and unwavering service.

As a funeral director, I will never forget September 19, 2022—the day of Her Majesty’s state funeral. It was a moment that united people across the world in mourning and respect. To me, it was not only a flawless ceremony, but also a final farewell to a nearly flawless person.
