“Nothing Compares 2 U,” Sinéad O’Connor

My friend and colleague, Cynthia Switzer, recently visited the grave of Irish born, singer, songwriter and activist, Sinéad O’Connor at Deansgrange Cemetery, just outside of Dublin, Ireland.

This 70 acre cemetery was established in 1865 and is the burial site of writers, poets, actors, political activists and John Boyd Dunlop, inventor of the tire of which Dunlop Tire company was named after.

Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor will be remembered for her compassion and conviction lending her voice to many important causes. Sadly, she died in London, England of natural causes on July 26, 2023. She was only 56.
