Cemetery advertised at the Los Angeles Dodger game
While watching the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine, something unusual caught my eye—a large digital sign advertising “Forest Lawn.”
After visiting more than 19 (30) Major League Baseball parks over the years, I can honestly say I’ve never seen a funeral home or cemetery advertisement inside a ballpark. A place built for celebration, energy, and sportsmanship—now sharing ad space with end-of-life services? Times are certainly changing.
Forest Lawn is no small name in Southern California. The organization operates six cemeteries in the region and is the final resting place for many of Hollywood’s elite, including Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Lucille Ball, Walt Disney, and Michael Jackson, just to name a few.
