A private family mausoleum under construction at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto
Many who walk through Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in midtown Toronto may have noticed the construction over the past year of a private family mausoleum near the Yonge Street gates. I’ve been keeping an eye on the site, and the final details are now taking shape. The structure, built of grey granite, is nearly complete, with the Doric columns prepared for installation. Recently, words of wisdom have been engraved on the granite façade.
Once everything is finished, I’ll be happy to share the final unveiling with the FamousGraveTour community—a true thing of beauty.
