Can people have their pets buried with them?

I often get this question from friends and family who live in Ontario. Can we be buried with our pets urn?

Yes, deceased pets can be buried with deceased humans at a human cemetery provided the cemetery bylaws permit this. Cemetery operators write their own bylaws, which must be approved by the Registrar, Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002.
