Remembering those with inherited bleeding disorders

On a walk through Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario, near the historic front entrance, I noticed a granite bench dedicated to those living with inherited bleeding disorders.

Genetic conditions affecting blood clotting—such as Hemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, Thalassemia, and platelet function disorders—are often unseen, yet profoundly life-shaping.

The bench was a kind and meaningful gesture as it made you pause and reflect for a moment.
