St. Valentines Day Massacre February 14, 1929

On my recent trip to Chicago, I walked up a lane to 2122 North Clark Street where I discovered a parking lot that was once a garage and the location of the famous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.

On the morning of February 14th, 1929, Scarface, Al Capone ordered his men who were disguised as police officers to line up seven associates of the George “Bugs” Moran bootlegging gang and have them executed on the spot.  A piece of Lincoln Park, Chicago history.
