All creatures great and small. A loving tribute.

As we pay tribute today on Remembrance Day, it’s also a special time to reflect upon the many animals who have sacrificed their lives in combat.

On that note, I received a reminder of just how important animals are to this world when I received news of a special service that took place for a beloved family member of the feline variety!

Family and friends  gathered yesterday to remember the life of Ric (Ricardo).  A custom constructed wooden casket was crafted for Ric, before he was  gently carried to his final resting place.

Ric, you put a constant smile on the faces of all who knew you, and lit up this world with your joyous spirit.
