Some of the finest black granite in the world comes from India

Next time you walk through a cemetery you might notice jet black granite monuments. If you do, it was most likely quarried in southern India in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka or Tamil Nadu.

The granite is referred to as Jet Black Granite or Nero Absolute Granite and is one of the most commonly used stones to make cemetery monuments due to its capacity to endure all weather conditions, especially in Canada and for its overall attractiveness.
