Teeder Kennedy, Toronto Maple Leafs captain and five time Stanley Cup winner

As the Maple Leafs gear up for the second round of the NHL playoffs against the Florida Panthers, I sought inspiration from a true legend. I visited Oakwood Cemetery in Port Colborne, Niagara Region, with my Leaf puck and sock in hand.

There lies Teeder Kennedy, the speedy center who played fourteen seasons with the Leafs and made history as the first NHL player to win five Stanley Cups.

Now that’s what I call inspiring!
